The Song I Never Saw Coming

It's always touching with a successful star that is making millions in revenue and enjoying mega success wherever they appear, take time to record a song for something they care about. Many singers write songs and perform them songs about various causes, but those stars are often B listeners or enjoy limited success. It's still great they do that, even though there is some self promotion involved.

Yara, the Lebanese singer known for her mellow voice and Goddess like behavior and charm, she can do no wrong. She is huge in the Gulf, and everywhere in Arabia, Lebanon loves her, Egypt adores her, the Maghrib sheds tears in her concert, so she needs nothing form this song, she did it for Gaza, Palestine and Baghdad. the most touching solo song from an A list singer. Choosing the simple Gulf dialect is proper choice as it drives the massage home.

Ween Ibda, "Where to begin?" takes the listeners into a journey about the misery, the tragedy and the misfortune of those two places. She covers those topics in such a delicate matter that gets to your heart with nothing in between you and the mellow voice that delivers the message. Yara does not shy away from calling it as it's...she condemns those who do injustice to Palestine and Iraq even if those unjust were the close ones.

If the news and the agony of those places doe snot get to your heart, Yara's voice will. I love the part where she sings about robbing the people of their dream and livelihood. Well Done
