Fadel Shaker Hits the Sweet Spot Like No Other

Fadel Shaker might as well be the last gentleman in Arabic music. He is a classy guy, never makes up rumors about himself to gain fame. He does not give many interviews and he rarely appears on TV. I do not blame him, most of those channels want to know his opinion on others more than they want to know about his work.

Well, Fadel does not keep away from his fans and listeners of his music, he releases an album every couple of years and now and then he has a single that keeps his name floating around in case someone wants him for a concert. Many admire the star for his low key life style and his ventures into business, he owns a trendy and upscale Lebanon restaurant. So he keeps himself busy. If it's not his family who Fadel keeps away form the spotlight, he focuses on his music craft. If he has time, he spends some time on his ventures.

When Fadel makes a music video, you know he is going to give you a love story, which his warm voice transforms into a magical state. Unlike many of his peers making music, he does not hire a hunderd model to get your attention becasue when he singes he already got yours.

I am not the only one to like the star and his very exclusive style of singing, where his voice delivers the hardest of the notes as well as he does the hippest pop song. Now comes his new single, and it comes in Egyptian dialect right in the heat of the discussion about how Lebanese singers should not sing in Egyptian. Fadel has millions of mature fans in Arabia and many of them are in Egypt. I say why not, the Egyptian words show another side of the star.
