Mohamed Nour Seeks Redemption

Mohamed Nour is the only singer to have done the following. He Sang for both sides of the Egyptian revolution. He first released an apology song for President Mubarak and never supported to the protests. Then 10 days later Mubarak was out the door, Mohammed Nour went back and changed the words of his Mubarak song, the one he released less than 10 days prior to the departure of the dictator. and made is for Egypt instead.

Of course Mohamed Nour thinks we are a bunch of people who suffer memory loss as he hoped we would just forget his previous song. But his lame attempt to cover up his history did not set will with the people and activists. So he did the next big thing, he released new song for the mothers of the fallen. I mean he knew that the fallen probably hated him, so their mothers might forgive him.

This is a sad song on many counts. It's about a mother wishing to have said goodbye to the murdered children of theirs. The song plays like a gospel song, it's about faith and being tested. You be the judge...did Mohamed redeem himself?
