Syrian Rap Communique # 1

So no question asked the Syrian regime is one of the most brutal regimes in the world, they are no less brutal than the one in Bahrain, they are both bad. But Syria is an easy target. Politics aside, Syria is a powerhouse in art, politics, and trade. This is a music blog and we have gotten a hold of a music video for a rap song. Syria is not big on rap, but it seems the land has found something to be mad about and what a better way to channel that anger than rap?

Titled Communique # 1 about the post Assad regime. It takes about repression, the revolution and the unity of the people in Syria Muslims and Christians. The message of the rap is clear, the people of Syria refuse to be humiliated From North to South from East to West, the people will rise.

As it closes the song closes with a poem read by the most famous poet in Syria's history Nizar Qabbani who wrote about two things. Women and corrupt Arab leaders. I thought it was a nice touch to incorporate his voice delivering one of his well kwno songs about butchers of little children and their aspirations.

الثورة السورية ضد بشار الاسد 2 -اغنية راب سوري جديد.
