RIP: Classy Egyptain Actor/Singer Talaat Zein

At age 56 passed away Talaat Zein, the Alexandria native passed away after a long struggle with illness. He had trouble with lungs and had undergone a number of procedures in Egypt and abroad. He passed away due to heart conditions.

This classy actor with handsome looks that commended respect and revealed a rare classy side of this gifted entertainer. Talat made his career in music where he formed and joined a number of bands that performed in events and night clubs, playing western music. He made the transition into acting and music video when he appeared in the early 90s music video of Amr Diab "Rag'een"

Later he would start acting and took part of a number of acclaimed movies "Afrikano", "Ma Tigi Norqos", the Egyptian version of "Shall We Dance". His last film roles were in a sport comedy "Zamahlawya" and action drama "The Dealer"
