Bokra Official Video, Arab Stars Line Up

First you get to see the man behind this project Quincey Jones, then comes Red One, the Moroccan music producer with the golden touch. Then tons of kids being kids, and then here comes Fayez Al Said, the music producer singer and composer to open up Pandora's box.

Along comes Tunisian Saber El Robaei, followed by Moroccan lady of powerful vocals Asma Al Menawar, then comes Sherine with her million dollar smile. And after that you get a bunch of vocalists and young kids singing under the direction of Mr. Jones. All of sudden Iraqi composer singer and man of magi Kathem Al Sahier emerges (he looks like he can outrun you too).

then the new boy wonder of Syrian pop Nassif Zayton comes swinging. Followed by Jordan's hottest vocalists Diana Karazon. I think I just saw Waed, and other awesome sounding singers. Ahmed Hussien from Kuwit and Hayat Al Idris from Morocco Akon emerges from nowhere and you know you cannot mistake this world-class celebrity. Followed by Cheb Jilany, the Libyan singer who went missing for few years--glad he is back. Ahmed Al Jumairi from Bahrain. Qatar had also also provided the Al Kubaissi brothers (Fahed and Essa)

Oh boy, this getting better already...Marwan Khoury just brought sunny back! Sad, Tamer Hosny just took part of this! He is unemployed he can donate his time. Yes, please bring more of Sherine please. Along comes Tunisian Latifa bringing sexy back, then Saber stitches all together. Red One is back into action.

Not to be upstaged is Suaid Mashael, bringing on her charm and youthfulness and so did Algerian singer Souad Massi. Oman's Salah Al Zadjali and Moroccan Hasna Zallag also provided their talent, charm and time to bring this project.

This is like being a sport anchor looking at the game, there's so much thrill and so many details that one needs to process. Rim Bana, the Palestinian singer leads the pack. I think past Arabic sings of this size, tended to be political and lack on the production value. This particular one brings the international expertise, the money and the HD skills. This is not a reactionary song, but rather a solid song that can be timeless.

But there are those who have raised some serious issues with the project

stupid song, especially if its supposed to tie in to the uprisings. The lyrics are written by majida alroumi who was called out this year for having accepted an award from ben ali, and it features tamer hosny who got kicked out of tahrir square for defending mubarak.

plus its introduced by shakira, who likes to kiss shimon peres.

Maled Akkad deserves a big shout out for his amazing production and direction.
